When ALI gaming solutions was bought out in 1999, Aristocrat Technologies Africa (Pty) Ltd was born into humble beginnings. It seemed impossible to enter a market where big names were dominating.

Today Aristocrat Africa has the biggest video market share in South Africa. The South African office supplies and services all casinos in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands. We boast the majority share in the Limited Payout Market (LPM).

A great portion of the South African office’s success in the 37 licensed casinos in the country is attributed to top performing games. Although Queen of the Nile, Dolphin Treasure and Geisha will always be the favourites, many newer games such as Choy Sun Doa and 5 Dragons has made their mark for good.

After selling a 28% interest in its African operations to local company, Yabohle Investments (Pty) Ltd, a consortium led by Matemeku Investments (Pty) Ltd. Aristocrat Africa is independently verified as a contributor in it’s Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment certification.
